Dalton, GA. (May 14, 2004) - John Miller,
general counsel and manager of government affairs for the Carpet and Rug
Institute, is available to discuss international and trade issues as they
relate to carpet manufacturing, Chinese piracy issues and potential European
Union (EU) sanctions.
Mr. Miller is well versed in each of the issues and recently traveled
to China to meet with government officials on behalf of the carpet industry.
At CRI, Mr. Millers responsibilities have included handling government
relations activities at the state and local level throughout the southeast
and the western part of the United States. Mr. Miller has also been significantly
involved with the CRI Political Action Committee.
