March
20, 2002, DALTON, GA Werner Braun, president of the Carpet and Rug Institute,
recently announced the promotion of two CRI employees. These promotions follow
Mr. Brauns continuing realignment of staff duties to bring further value to
the services provided to CRI members.

Her new responsibilities include prioritizing and managing activities in the
Office of the President and tracking progress of the projects and programs approved
by CRIs Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Mr. Braun said, Peggy
is a real asset to CRI. Those of you who know Peggy would agree that she always
gives more than 100% to any project she takes on her plate. CRI is very honored
to have such a valuable employee, and I take great pleasure in promoting her
to the position of director.

for CRIs committees as well as CRIs annual business meeting and meetings of
CRIs members on the west coast. Mr. Braun said, Joyce is one of the most enthusiastic
people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. With her high energy level and
outgoing personality, I know she will excel in her new position.
