Collins and Aikman Is CRI's Newest Member
Provides Carpet for New Breakroom

November 12, 2001, DALTON, GA Werner Braun, president of the Carpet and Rug Institute, (CRI) announces that Collins and Aikman Floor Coverings Inc., (C & A) is CRI's newest carpet manufacturing member. Mr. Braun stated, "It is a pleasure to welcome C & A to our manufacturing membership representing over ninety percent of industry production. C & A is known to provide quality carpet products to the commercial segments of the carpet industry and they will certainly provide added expertise for CRI's activities."

Although the CRI headquarters building on Holiday Drive was renovated and redesigned about three years ago with assistance from many carpet manufacturers, there has never been an appropriate "break room" for employees. A fully-equipped room is now in place with the added contribution of carpet modules from C & A's collection of carpet tile of solution-dyed nylon. Dobbin Callahan, General Manager of Government Marketing, helped CRI with the selection of an appropriate style and with the installation. Mr. Braun thanked Mac Bridger, president and CEO of C & A, by saying, "the breakroom is now a pleasure for CRI staff, especially with the new patterned commercial provided by C & A. Thanks very much for helping us complete this project."
