DSC Professor of Management Dr. Marilyn Helms, said, "MGNT 4701 is the class where students take everything they've studied here at Dalton State and pull it all together,". By exploring their chosen company's market, studying its competition, and finding ways to create business for that organization, "They learn to see the big picture and think like top management." Students work in small teams, first meeting with their case study "client", then conducting independent research, and finally presenting their findings to their client company. CARE is enthusiastic about the prospect of fresh input from new eyes. "What CARE is doing - finding ways to use post-consumer carpet and divert it from landfills - is exciting," said CARE Executive Director Georgina Sikorski. "We are anxious to see what the DSC students recommend, and we are honored to have been chosen as a case study for them." Contact Jeremy Stroop at 706.428-2127. View the Complete Press Release CRI Provides New SOA Marketing ToolkitsTo coincide with the fifth anniversary of the Seal of Approval program, CRI has developed a new "toolkit" of marketing materials to help Service Providers market their businesses and increase visibility for them as well as CRI. In addition, CRI has updated and enlarged the existing toolkits for SOA manufacturers of solutions, vacuums, cleaning systems, and extractors. The toolkits include materials such as a press release, brochure, and marketing talking points fact sheet. The Marketing Toolkits were developed for CRI by Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in part as a response to a survey done earlier this year of existing SOA participants, whose #1 response was to request more marketing help.
