2008 Sustainability Report to be Released at Greenbuild

CRI's 2008 Sustainability Report will be available at the CRI booth, space 622, at the U.S. Green Building Council's upcoming meeting, Greenbuild 2008, to be held in Boston November 19-21. Information for the report was collected over a number of months, and represents data from 83 production facilities and approximately 90 percent of all carpet produced by CRI member companies. The survey focused on seven areas of sustainability, including electricity, water, fuel, materials, safety, certifications and emissions.

The 2008 Sustainability Report will be available through a link on the CRI website beginning November 19th.

Dalton State College Agrees to Add CRI Continuing Education to Website

Dalton State College and CRI are working together to make CRI's collection of CEU's available online. The courses will be accessed through the CRI website, but hosted by DSC as part of their online learning program. CRI has developed their CEU program as a way to educate the A&D community about the benefits of carpet. The CRI project marks the first time Dalton State has offered non-credit courses online.
