In This Issue: Trio Makes 36 Seal of Approval Certified Cleaning Solutions
Shaw Industries' R2Xtra spot remover and pre-spray, Chemspec's Killer Odor Plus spot remover and pre- spray, and Future Floor Technologies' Longevity Low Moisture Cleaner pre-spray each were certfiied by an independent testing lab. The products were tested for efficacy, resoiling, pH, optical brighteners, and colorfastness to light. The bottom line: Seal of Approval cleaning solutions such as these effectively remove stains and soil without adversely affecting the appearance or the performance of the carpet -- which is a wise investment for both consumers, commercial and institutional purchasers. The event is geared to residential retailers and CRI's presence was a prime example of how member companies can provide the all-important multiplier effort in getting out the good word on carpet. The CRI booth was well-attended by the large group of retailers and staff was inundated with questions about CRI's signature programs as well as inquiries into carpet installation matters. The event provided a good opportunity for feedback and confirmed the need for CRI to focus on critical issues, including finding solutions for installation- related problems.
