Four New Cleaning Products Join SOA Family

CRI's Seal of Approval ProgramA spot remover, two pre-sprays and an in-tank solution are the latest four products to join the family of Seal of Approval (SOA) certified cleaning products. The list of qualified products now stands at 19 since the program was launched last Fall.

Test results from an independent lab certified two products from Eco Concepts, one from Bio-Pro Research and another from Vi-Tech International LC as having passed all five elements of the their respective categories to earn SOA designation.

Eco Concept's Green Concepts High Performance Pre-spray No. 5 and Green Concepts Carpet Extraction Cleaner No. 6 were accepted in the pre- spray and in-tank categories, respectively. Vi-Tech's LC#051J0401 pre-spray and Bio-Pro Research's Urine-Off / HS Formula spot remover product each passed the stringent testing criteria in order to earn SOA certification.

CRI Program Earns Certification by Space Foundation

CRI's new testing program which will utilize NASA- enhanced x-ray fluorescence (XRF) space technology is scheduled to be introduced later this year, and it will carry with it the Space Foundation seal as certified space technology.

CRI, in partnership with KeyMaster Technologies, received word this past week that The Space Foundation panel review has established that both the KeyMaster Technologies instrument technology and the CRI test methods meet the criteria for certification as space technologies by the Space Foundation.

CRI will now work with The Space Foundation to develop a master license agreement which will allow the sublicensing of the seal to various manufacturing partners.

XRF technology will be used in CRI's new testing protocol for deep cleaning extraction equipment and vacuum cleaners.

Fundraiser for Congressman Nathan Deal

Congressman Nathan Deal visited Dalton on March 29th for a fundraising event at the Farm. The event was well attended and contributions exceeded expectations. The event was designed to say thank to Congressman Deal for his many contributions to the carpet industry. Congressman Deal was gracious as always and gave everyone more than enough time to discuss issues. He also used the last ½ hour to outline the priorities for the remainder of the year in Congress and answered a series of questions. He even got into who might be the Presidential nominees from both parties. A special thanks to all those industry executives who made this such a success.
